Meet Erick Jordan
Golf has become a big part of my life, but my goal goes beyond helping someone hit a better shot. I want to build golf in San Bernardino and give more people—especially kids—the opportunity to learn, compete, and see where the game can take them.
I am an educator, the golf coach at Cajon High School, and a PGA Affiliate working toward PGA membership. Within my first two years coaching at Cajon, I helped lead our team to a CIF Southern Section Championship. I am also nearing completion of my master’s degree in Golf Teaching and Learning at Keiser University, continuing to build my knowledge of the game and how to teach it.
Why I Started Jordan Golf Academy
As a teacher and coach, I see how much opportunity matters. There are kids with the interest and potential to succeed who simply need access, guidance, and someone willing to invest in their development. I started Jordan Golf Academy to help create those opportunities and work toward removing the barriers that keep people from getting into golf.
My focus is on junior beginners, developing junior players, high school golfers, and adults learning the game. Whether you are picking up a club for the first time, preparing for tryouts, or working through a difficult stretch during the season, I want you to have a clear path forward.
How I Teach
I believe in building a foundation, keeping instruction understandable, and giving players time to develop. For beginners, that means starting with grip, putting, and chipping before progressing into longer swings and more clubs. For players with experience, it means understanding their goals, identifying what needs attention, and creating a plan that connects practice to performance on the course.
Every player learns differently. My job is to meet you where you are, explain the purpose behind what we work on, and give you something useful to take into your next practice or round.
Above all, I want my players to feel welcome, supported, and confident that they belong in this game. Through Jordan Golf Academy, I hope to help build a stronger golf community here in San Bernardino—one player at a time.
